Celebrities & Cosmetic Surgery
What is happening in today's society? It seems that the most fashionable thing among celebrities is plastic surgery. Everything from tummy tucks and chin implants to eye lifts and breast implants have taken effect more than ever.
The Hollywood "plastification" has begun to seep into our mainstream life. Everyone knows someone with at least a newly inflated chest or a Cindy Crawford-like nose. Let's face it -- plastic surgery is gradually becoming the norm. Move over sagging boobs, make way for something firmer!
So how many celebrities have had plastic surgery? Virtually every single one. Some will deny it until death while others have no problem facing up to it. After all, when your breasts are suddenly shaped like two perfectly rounded cushions, the public will likely put two and two together (or in this case, one and one).
Did you know that Michael Douglas had a face-lift? What about Burt Reynolds? Did you know that he was the first celebrity male to get a face-lift? And he has no problem ranting and raving about it either.
So what are the most popular surgeries among men and women today? Well it's quite obvious that in women's case, breasts are the first things that need a little saline power. Next comes liposuction, in which women suck the unwanted fat out of their bodies (gyms take too long for the desired results, you know).
Third on the list of "things to remove" is the infamous rhinoplasty, or as it is more familiarly known, a nose job. After that come the more menial and petty things like face-lifts and wrinkle removal.
Nowadays, more and more men have begun going under the knife as well. Breast implants aren't the No. 1 things on their list, but liposuction certainly is. Next in line comes that renowned nose job and following in at a close third is eyelid surgery.
Unbelievably, another popular surgery among men is called gynecomastia -- that is where men have the excess fat that they've developed in their breasts removed. That sounds real attractive.
